Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
2   5⅛″ × 4½″ (13㎝ × 11.5㎝)
1   5⅛″ × 4″ (13㎝ × 10㎝)
1   4¾″ × 2¾″ (12㎝ × 7㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
2   5⅛″ × 4½″ (13㎝ × 11.5㎝)
1   5⅛″ × 4″ (13㎝ × 10㎝)
1   4¾″ × 2¾″ (12㎝ × 7㎝)

Zipper
1   4″(10㎝)

Plastic snap buttons

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   4⅜″ × 3¾″ (11㎝ × 9.5㎝)
1   4⅜″ × 3¼″ (11㎝ × 8㎝)
1   4″ × 2″ (10㎝ × 5㎝)

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining of the front pocket and sew the top with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8” away from the top.

Place the front pocket on the right side of the main fabric and sew.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining of the flap and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving the top.

Clip the corners and turn it right side out. Press and topstitch around all the edges.

Place the flap on the right side of the front panel and sew.

With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down along top edge (Bend zipper ends in place). Pin in place.

Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out (fold the flap), press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8” away from the zipper.

Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the pouch pieces.

Flip the layers so the outer bag pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Sew the opening hole close.

Snap buttons on flaps and front pockets.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
