Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
2   9″ × 7¼″ (23㎝ × 18.5㎝)
1   9″ × 1⅝″ (23㎝ × 4㎝)
1   9″ × 5½″ (23㎝ × 14㎝)
2   3⅛″ × 5¼″ (8㎝ × 13.5㎝)
1   2⅜″ × 20½″ (6㎝ × 52㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
2   9″ × 7¼″ (23㎝ × 18.5㎝)
2   9″ × 12¼″ (23㎝ × 31㎝)
1   9″ × 5½″ (23㎝ × 14㎝)
1   2⅜″ × 20½″ (6㎝ × 52㎝)

Zipper
2   8″(20㎝)

1″(2.5㎝ ) wide Webbing Strap 150㎝(59¼″)
1″(2.5㎝) wide Rectangle ring and Triglides Slide
Magnetic Buttons

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   8¼″ × 6½″ (21㎝ × 16.5㎝)
1   2⅜″ × 4½″ (6㎝ × 11.5㎝)
1   1⅝″ × 19¾″ (4㎝ × 50㎝)

Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
2   8¼″ × 11½″ (21㎝ × 29㎝)
1   8¼″ × 5⅛″ (21㎝ × 13㎝)
1   2⅜″ × 4½″ (6㎝ × 11.5㎝)

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Place the wrong sides together of the outer and lining of the front pocket.

1⅝″ wide fabric is placed and stitch up to the end. Stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.

Place the front pocket on the right side of the mainfabric and sew.

With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down along top edge. Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place.
Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press pieces away from the zipper. Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.

With the lining folded, sew the edges of the zip pocket.

Use the same process to sew the back zip pocket.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining of the gusset and sew both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn gusset right side out. Mark center points of the gusset and the front panel.

Pin the Gusset to the Front Panel, pinning first at the center. Then pin the ends in place. Continue to pin along only the straight edges of the Front Panel, there is no fiddling for these points. With sharp scissors make small snips on the gusset at the round shape of the main panel. The small snips will help the curved edge of the bag. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Use the same process to sew the back panel to the other side of the gusset.

Turn out our crossbody bag through the hole that we left not stitched. After this, sew up this hole.

Attach the bag strap.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
