Let's get started!!
To make this you will need:
◆ Main Panel
① 8¾″ × 10½″ (22㎝ × 26.5㎝) Outer layer
① 8¾″ × 10½″ (22㎝ × 26.5㎝) Lining
◆ Middle pocket
① 8¾″ × 6¼″ (22㎝ × 15.5㎝) Outer layer
◆ Front pocket
① 8¾″ × 5⅛″ (22㎝ × 13㎝) Outer layer
◆ Zipper pocket
② 7⅛″ × 5⅛″ (18㎝ × 13㎝) Outer layer
② 7⅛″ × 5⅛″ (18㎝ × 13㎝) Lining
◆ Others
① 1⅜″ × 1⅜″ (3.5㎝ × 3.5㎝) Outer layer
① 6″ (15㎝) Zipper
① 5⅛″ (13㎝) Elastic Cord
① 3/4″ (2㎝) wide Button
Cut the fabric into the shape of the pattern.
Fold the pocket fabric 3/16″ and 3/8″ twice, facing outward, and topstitch. Place the front pocket over the middle pocket and sew together 2⅜″ from each side.
Place the pockets on the right side of the main panel lining and sew the center line.
Place the zipper right sides together on top of the outer layer. Place the lining on top of the zip. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″. Open out, press pieces away from the zipper. Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way. Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch 1/8″ away from the zipper.
Flip the layers so the outer bag pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together. Sew both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″. Then, turn it right side out.
Attach a elastic cord to the outer layer of the main panel and a button to the front of the zipper pocket.
Place the zipper pocket between the main panel outer layer and lining. Sew all the edges except for the window opening. Then it right side out.
Sew the top of the main panel.
YOU ARE FINISHED!
Happy sewing!
