DIY Hanging Organizer

This hanging organizer has generous half-circle baskets that can hold all kinds of things.
I have added interfacing to the oxford fabric, but it’s good to make it a durable fabric.

Lining ( quilting cotton )

Interfacing (Mid-weight woven – Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
3   8″ × 3⅜″ (20㎝ × 8.5㎝)
3   10½″ × 6⅛″ (26.5㎝ × 15.5㎝)
1   8¾″ × 28½″ (22㎝ × 72㎝)

1 inch Hook and Loop 7⅛″(18㎝)

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the fusible interfacing, centered, to the wrong side.

Mark the center of the lower edge of the pocket rectangle and the center of the curved edge of the pocket half circle bottom.
Use small scissors to make snips all along the bottom edge of the pocket rectangle.
The right side of the pocket should be against the pocket bottom.
Sew the curved edge.

Attach all 3 pocket rectangles to half circle pocket bottoms.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening.
Then turn out the pocket through the opening.

Place the right sides together of the large pieces of fabric.
Pin and sew around the edges, leaving a 3-inch opening in one side.
Clip the corners and turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening.
Press, pin and topstitch around all the edges.

Then sew Hook and Loop on the back side.

Place the pockets on the large fabric and fasten the 3 sides.
Stitch along the straight bottom of the pocket, 1/8” from the edge.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
