DIY Macaron Coin Purse

The finished measurements of this pouch are approximately 1⅞″(4.7㎝) W × 1⅞″(4.7㎝) H × 1″(2.5㎝) D .

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
2   3¼″× 3¼″(8㎝ × 8㎝)
1   2¾″ × 2¾″(7㎝ × 7㎝)
1   1¼″ × 4¾″(3㎝ × 12㎝)
1   1¼″ × 2⅜″(3㎝ × 6㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
2   2¾″ × 2¾″(7㎝ × 7㎝)

Zipper
1   4¾″(12㎝)

Macaron Bag Button or Half Ball Cover Button
47㎜

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   2⅜″ × 2⅜″(6㎝ × 6㎝)
Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
2   1¾″ × 1¾″(4.5㎝ × 4.5㎝)

3/8″ (1㎝) wide Swivel Snap

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
2   5⅛″ × 5⅛″(13㎝ × 13㎝)
1   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
1   1¼″ × 5⅛″( 3㎝ × 13㎝ )
1   1¼″ × 2⅜″(3㎝ × 6㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
2   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)

Zipper
1   8″(20㎝)

Macaron Bag Button or Half Ball Cover Button
75㎜

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
2   2¾″ × 2¾″(7㎝ × 7㎝)

3/8″ (1㎝) wide Swivel Snap

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the interfacing, centered, to the wrong side.

Place the inner pocket on the right side of the lining and sew.

Stitch around the outer layer. Pull the thread and make it round.

Place the Macaron Bag Button on the fusible fleece. Pull the thread to fit the size.

Sew the seam allowances together to make them tight.

Stitch around the lining. Make a round shape according to the size of the interfacing.

You can make a neat round shape by inserting cardboard inside.

As shown in the picture, the zipper is made into a single loop.

Fit the outer panel to the zipper. And sew inside.

Whip stitch on the outside.

Place the lining panel on the inside of the pouch and whip stitch.

Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the outer and lining panel.
