It is a mini-pouch in the shape of a cute tote bag with a handle. You can store coins, credit cards, card wallets, keys, earphones, and small cosmetics. Connecting this pouch to the bag makes it convenient to use. Let’s make it with me.

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Fold the the strip fabric in half, wrong sides together to make a crease. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press. Stitch along long edges of the strip. And attach your handle to the right side of the outer layer. Sew just bottom.

Sew the bottom fabric between the front and back fabrics.

Fold the outer fabric in half, right sides together. Sew both sides with a seam allowance of 3/8”.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Cut both bottoms of the lining into 5/8″ squares.

Layer an main fabric piece face up, then the zipper face up along one edge, and then the lining patch face down.

Make sure the end of the zipper is facing down as shown in the picture.

Fold the lining patch and zipper. And topstitch for pressing the seam allowance.

Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the lining pieces.

Fold the lining in half and sew the sides and bottom. Leave an opening in the bottom. Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn the outer layer right side out. Put the outer layer inside of the lining, align the pouch entrance. Sew with a seam allowance of 3/8″.

Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Sew the opening hole close. Topstitch around the entrance of the pouch.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
