To make this you will need:
Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
1 4″ × 3¾″(10㎝ × 9.5㎝)
1 4″ × 5″(10㎝ × 12.5㎝)
Contrast Color Fabric ( quilting cotton )
1 4″ × 1⅞″(10㎝ × 4.9㎝)
1 1¼″ × 1⅜″(3㎝ × 3.5㎝)
Lining ( quilting cotton )
2 4″ × 5″(10㎝ × 12.5㎝)
1 1¼″ × 5⅞″(3㎝ × 14.8㎝)
Zipper
1 8″(20㎝)
Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2 3⅜″ × 4⅜″(8.5㎝ × 11㎝)
1 5/8″ × 5⅛″(1.5㎝ × 12.8㎝)
5/8″ (1.5㎝) wide Swivel Snap
Sewing Tag
Cotton string 51⅛″(130㎝)
Place the right sides together of the above and below of the front and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.
Open out, press pieces by iron.
Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.
Cut by adding 1/4” from the edge of the interfacing.
Place a zipper between the outer and lining of the bottom and sew with a seam allowance of 3/8”. Sew the other side of the zipper in the same way and turn it over to form a loof.
Pin the Gusset to the Main Panel, pinning first at the center. Then pin the all the way around. With sharp scissors make small snips on the gusset at the round shape of the main panel. Sew all the way around with a seam allowance of 1/4″.
Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place. Sew with an allowance of about 1/4″, leaving a 2-inch opening.
Use the same process to sew the zipper to the front side of the pouch.
Sew up the openings by manually.
Turn right side out.
Attach the string then you can hang around your neck.
