Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
1   10¾″ × 14½″ (27㎝ × 37㎝)
1   9″ × 3¼″ (23㎝ × 8㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )

Fold the handle piece in half, wrong sides together to make a crease. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press. Stitch along both long edges of the strip, 1/8” from the edge. Place and sew the handle on the right side of the outer layer.

With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down (zipper pull at right) along top edge. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8” away from the zipper.

Fold the outer layer and attach the outer to the other side of the zip the same way.

Fold the lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Turn right side out and press pieces away from and top stitch 1/8” away from the zipper, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Make a pouch shape as shown in the picture. Mark the four corners with small snips.

Turn wrong side out. Using your four marks, place both sides of the outer and lining. And sew both sides with a seam allowance of 3/8″.

Turn it over so that the inside of the pouch is visible.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew the portion of the gusset that is 1″ long.

Turn out our rectangle pouch through the hole that we left not stitched. After this, sew up this hole, and the pouch is ready!

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
