Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
2   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
1   8¾″ × 2⅛″(22㎝ × 5.5㎝)
1   8¾″ × 6½″(22㎝ × 16.5㎝)
1   2¾″ × 8¼″(7㎝ × 21㎝)
1   3¼″ × 4¾″(8㎝ × 12㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
2   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
1   8¾″ × 2⅛″(22㎝ × 5.5㎝)
1   8¾″ × 6½″(22㎝ × 16.5㎝)
1   2¾″ × 8¼″(7㎝ × 21㎝)

Zipper
1   8″(20㎝)

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   3¼″ × 3¼″(8㎝ × 8㎝)
1   8″ × 1⅜″(20㎝ × 3.5㎝)
1   8″ × 5¾″(20㎝ × 14.5㎝)
1   2″ × 7½″(5㎝ × 19㎝)

Cut the interfacing into the shape of a circle with a diameter of 3¼″. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side. Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Place the wrong sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 1/4″.

Fold the handle tab pieces in half, wrong sides together to make a crease. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press. Stitch along both long edges of the strip, 1/8” from the edge.Place the handle on the outer fabric and sew both ends.

Layer an outer layer face up, then the zipper face down along one edge, and then the lining face down. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the bag pieces.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

Make a sandwich with your zipper panel and side panels. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Place the opposite side of the outer layer of the side panel on the zipper panel and sew.

Fold the lining of the side panel by 3/8″ and pin it to the zipper panel. Sew the lining by manually.

By marking the quater of your bottom panel and the quater of your side panel. Now, using your quater marks, start pining the bottom of your side panel around the perimeter of your bottom. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

The bias tape is placed and pinned as pictured, stitch up to the end.

Stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
