The finished measurements of this pouch are approximately 2⅝″ (6.5㎝) W × 6⅜″(21㎝) H × 2⅝″(5㎝) D.
With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 0.2″ seam allowance.
Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the fabric piece.
Place the lining on top of the zip. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.
Place the zipper centered on one side of the bottom piece and sew with a seam allowance of 3/8″ at both ends.
Then turn right side out.
Sew the other side of the bottom piece facing out, leaving a seam allowance of 3/8″ at both ends.
Use the same process to sew the lining of the bottom.
Sew only 3 sides of the lining, and turn it over through the side that we left not stitched.
Fold the seam allowance and sew it manually.
Turn it over and close the zipper.
Fold the top part as shown in the picture. (Watch the video for more details.)
