Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 8″(20㎝) W × 4″(10㎝) H × 3″(7.5㎝) D

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
1   12⅝″ × 14⅜″(32㎝ × 36㎝)
2   3/4″ × 2⅜″(2㎝ × 6㎝)
2   1¾″ × 8½″(4.5㎝ × 21.5㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
2   12⅝″ × 7½″(32㎝ × 19㎝)

Zipper
1   11⅞″(30㎝)

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
1   11⅞″ × 13⅝″(30㎝ × 34㎝)
2   5/8″ × 8″(1.5㎝ × 20㎝)

Place the right sides together of the 2 linings and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening. Unfold the lining and open the seam.

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video. Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. And fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side. Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side. Fold the seam allowance 1/4″ in 4 sides and fold in half in the long sides.

Sew the 4 sides to make the handle.

Layer an outer layer face up, then the zipper face down along one edge, and then the lining face down. ew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.

Use the same process to sew the zipper to the other side of the bag pieces.

Topstitch the fabric down both sides of the zipper.

Turn outside in. Fold as shown in the phicture. After folding the lining in the same shape, sew the outer and lining together.

Sew the outer and lining of the side seams together. Please check the video for details.

Turn out the pouch through the hole that we left not stitched. After this, sew up this hole.

Place the handles on the top of the pouch and sew.

The top handle pouch is ready!

The process of making the pouch below is as above.
