EASY DIY STORAGE BOX

I’ve made three sizes of fabric baskets that are useful for organizing small items.
With handles on both sides, it is very convenient to carry the basket.
Decorate your home with fabric baskets that anyone can easily make.

Let's get started!!

Place two sheets of outer layer on the right side of the Contrast Color Fabric and sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press the outer layer and open the seam allowance.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.(Please refer to the video for the pattern.)
Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.
Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Fold the handle pieces in half, wrong sides together to make a crease.
Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press.
Stitch along both long edges of the strip, 1/8” from the edge.

Place the handle in the center of the outer layer and sew it.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Flip the layers so the outer bag pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a opening on the lining.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Sew the opening hole close.

Topstitch around the top of the basket.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
