Easy Glasses Case for Beginner

I introduce a glasses case that can be made easily and quickly. This pouch can hold glasses, sunglasses, cell phone and more. It has a handle, which is convenient for carrying around or hanging it somewhere. Try making eyeglass cases with various fabric designs with the patterns I shared.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
1   8¾″ × 8¼″ ( 22㎝ × 20.5㎝ )
1   1⅝″ × 8¾″ ( 4㎝ × 22㎝ )

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
1   8¾″ × 8¼″ ( 22㎝ × 20.5㎝ )

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
1   8″ × 7½″ ( 20㎝ × 18.5㎝ )

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side of the outer layer.

Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Fold the handle piece in half, wrong sides together to make a crease. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press. Stitch along both long edges of the strip, 1/8” from the edge.

After checking the video, place the handle in an appropriate position and sew.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Clip the corners and turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Press around all the edges. And topstitch around top the edges.

Fold it in half and sew 2 sides.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
