Easy Zipper Pouch 2 Size

Zipper pouches can be used for a variety of purposes, so everyone needs them.
In particular, this pouch can be placed upright when storing items, and can be flattened by folding the bottom when not storing items.
Try this easy-to-make zipper pouch in two sizes in a short time.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 6″ (15㎝) W × 5″(12.5㎝) H × 2″(5㎝) D.

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( fabric )
1   6¾″ × 12⅜″(17㎝ × 31㎝)
2   1⅝″×2″(4㎝ × 5㎝)

Lining ( fabric )
1   6¾″ × 12⅜″(17㎝ × 31㎝)

Zipper
1   6″(15㎝)

Interfacing (Mid-weight woven – Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
1   6¾″ × 12⅜″(17㎝ × 31㎝)

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 8″ (20㎝) W × 6″(15㎝) H × 3″(7.5㎝) D.

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( fabric )
1   8¾″ × 15⅜″(22㎝ × 38.5㎝)
2   1⅝″×2″(4㎝ × 5㎝)

Lining ( fabric )
1   8¾″ × 15⅜″(22㎝ × 38.5㎝)

Zipper
1   8″(20㎝)

Interfacing (Mid-weight woven – Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
1   8¾″ × 15⅜″(22㎝ × 38.5㎝)

With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down along top edge.

Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place.
Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

Fold up the outer layer, face the other side of the zipper, and sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Fold the lining up and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Turn inside out and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper, leaving a 2-inch opening.

After turn outside in and fold the bottom of the outer layer between the bottom of the lining.

Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″ both sides.

Turn out this pouch through the hole that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this hole.

If you make the bottom, you can stand the pouch upright.
