Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.
Let's get started!!
To make this you will need:
◆ Main Panel
① 4¾″ × 5⅝″ (12㎝ × 14㎝) Outer layer
① 4¾″ × 5⅝″ (12㎝ × 14㎝) Lining
① 4¾″ × 5⅝″ (12㎝ × 14㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Others
① 8¾″ (22㎝) Zipper
① 4″ × 1⅝″ (10㎝ × 4㎝) Lining
Cut the outer layer, lining and interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
Mark the center of the zipper and seperate the zipper. Place the zipper right sides together on top of the outer layer, centering it. With sharp scissors make small snips on both sides of the zipper tape. Sew with a seam allowance of 1/4″.
Place the lining on top of the zipper. Sew with an allowance of about 1/4″.
Turn it right side out through the hole that we left not stitched. Press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8″ away from the zipper.
Insert the zipper slider. Fold the side corners as shown in the picture above, and sew with a seam allowance of 1/4″.
Cut off the remaining zipper outside the seam.
Fold the small lining fabric and place and sew the fabric on the seam.
YOU ARE FINISHED!
Happy sewing!
