① Zipper_seam allowance included 7⅛″(18㎝)
① 1⅝″(4㎝) Wide bias tape 55⅜″(140㎝)
Attach the handle to the main outer fabric of the lid.
Position the side pocket onto the side panel and sew it in place.
Wrap the top edge of the mesh fabric with bias tape and sew it down. Place this bound edge over the zipper and stitch them together. Fold the lining fabric in half, place it over the zipper, and sew. Trim the completed mesh zipper pocket assembly so that it matches the shape of the lid fabric.
Separate the zipper track into two halves. Sew one half of the zipper tape along the curved outer edge of the lid.
Sew the other half of the zipper tape along the rounded upper edge of the front panel.
Align the lid with the front panel and slide the zipper pulls onto the tracks to connect them.
Connect the front panel and back panel together to form one continuous main body piece.
Align the top edge of the side panel with the front panel, and the bottom edge of the side panel with the back panel, then sew them together.
Wrap all raw interior seam allowances with bias tape and stitch down to cleanly finish the bag.
All done! We hope you enjoy creating your own wonderful piece. 🎁 And be sure to check out the [Sewingtimes YouTube channel] for more creative projects.
