Mini Backpack DIY Zipper Pouch -Cute and Practical Bag

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 5″(12.5㎝) W × 6″(15㎝) H × 3″(7.5㎝) D.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Place and sew the zipper panel of the front pocket right sides together on top of the zipper.

Place the right sides together of the zipper panel and bottom panel of the front pocket and sew the both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″. Turn them right side out. Place the the side on the around edge of the front pocket and sew.

Place the front pocket on the outer layer of the main panel and sew it. Place the bag strap on the back of the main panel as shown in the phicture. Make an inside pocket and sew it on the main panel lining.

Place the zipper right sides together on top of the outer layer. Place the lining on top of the zip. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″. Open out, press pieces away from the zipper. Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way. Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8″ away from the zipper.

Place the right sides together of the zipper panel and bottom panel and sew the both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″. Turn them right side out. Place the the side on the around edge of the main panel and sew. Place bias tape on the seam and sew up.
