DIY Clear View Bag

Sewingtimes demonstrate how to make a fun and useful clear-view tote. The clear vinyl side makes it quick and easy to see what’s inside when you’re searching for something you need. It’s useful for organizing your sewing materials, make-up, toiletry and many other things. Let’s make it together!!!

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 9⅞″(25㎝) W × 6¾″(17㎝) H × 2¾″(7㎝) D.

You may watch the full video tutorial on my Youtube channel.

Share this video with a lot of people who need it.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Place the vinyl fabric between the outer layer and the lining. Sew the top with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch.

Place and sew the handles 4 inches interval.

With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge. Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

Place the zipper panel between the outer layer and the lining of the side panel. Sew the both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Sew around the outer layer and lining together.

Place the right sides together of the main panel and side panel and sew all the way around with an allowance of about 3/8″.

The bias tape is placed and pinned as pictured, stitch up to the end.

Stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
