Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
2   8¼″ × 10¼″ (21㎝ × 26㎝)
1  12⅝″ × 2⅜″ (32㎝ × 6㎝)
1   20″ × 2¾″ (50.5㎝ × 7㎝)
2   6¾″ × 3¾″ (17㎝ × 9.5㎝)
1   8″ × 8″ (20㎝ × 20㎝)
2   4″ × 3¾″ (10㎝ × 9.5㎝)
1   5″ × 5″ (12.5㎝ × 12.5㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
2   8¼″ × 10¼″ (21㎝ × 26㎝)
1   12⅝″ × 2⅜″ (32㎝ × 6㎝)
1   20″ × 2¾″ (50.5㎝ × 7㎝)
1   8″ × 8″ (20㎝ × 20㎝)

Zipper
1   11⅞″(30㎝)

1¼″(3㎝ ) wide Webbing Strap 47½″(120㎝)
1¼″(3㎝) wide Rectangle ring and Triglides Slide
1⅝″(4㎝) wide bias tape 70¾″ (180㎝)
Magnetic Buttons

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
2   7½″ × 9½″ (19㎝ × 24㎝)
1   11⅞″ × 1⅝″ (30㎝ × 4㎝)
1   19¼″ × 2″ (48.5㎝ × 5㎝)

Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
1   6″ × 3″ (15㎝ × 7.5㎝)
1   7⅛″ × 7⅛″ (18㎝ × 18㎝)
1   3¼″ × 3″ (8㎝ × 7.5㎝)

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Place the right sides together of the flap fabrics and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″. Turn right side out. Press, pin and topstitch around all the edges.

Place the right sides together of the front pocket fabrics and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″. Turn right side out. Press, pin and topstitch around the top edge.

Place the flap and front pocket on the front side of the outer layer and sew.

Place the straps on the back side of the outer layer and sew.

Place the wrong sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 1/4″.

With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge. Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8” away from the zipper.

Layer an outer (side panel) piece face up, then the zipper panel face down , and then the lining face down. Sew both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn right side out.

Pin the Gusset to the Main Panel, pinning first at the center. Then pin the ends in place. Continue to pin along only the straight edges of the Main Panel, there is no fiddling for these points. With sharp scissors make small snips on the gusset at the round shape of the main panel. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Use the same process to sew the back panel to the other side of the gusset.

The bias tape is placed and pinned, stitch up to the end. And stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.

Turn right side out.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
