Create a Custom Cube Organizer Bag for All Your Hobbies

To make this you will need:

Outside of Main Panel
② 5⅛″ × 24½″ (13㎝ × 62㎝) Outer layer
② 8″ × 8¾″ (20㎝ × 22㎝) Outer layer
② 5⅛″ × 24½″ (13㎝ × 62㎝) Fusible fleece
① 8″ × 24½″ (20㎝ × 62㎝) Fusible fleece
Inside of Main Panel
② 16⅝″ × 2¾″ (42㎝ × 7㎝) Outer layer
① 16⅝″ × 20½″ (42㎝ × 52㎝) Lining
Outside Pocket
② 8″ × 16⅝″ (20㎝ × 42㎝) Contrast Color Fabric
② 8″ × 6″ (20㎝ × 15㎝) Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing
Inside Pocket
② 16⅝″ × 11⅛″ (42㎝ × 28㎝) Lining
② 16⅝″ × 5⅛″ (42㎝ × 13㎝) Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing

① 1¼″(3㎝) Wide Webbing Strap 15⅞″(40㎝)

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Fold the Contrast Color Fabric inward by 6¼″. Sew the top edge.

Place the right sides together of Contrast Color Fabric and sew the bottom edge with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Place the right sides together of the contrast color fabric and main fabric and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Fold the main fabric inside the contrast color fabric. Sew on both sides.

Place the bag strap and sew on both sides.

Place the main fabric on both sides and sew. Open it out and sew.

Fold it in half and sew both sides.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Fold the inner pocket fabric in half. Fold the bottom seam allowance of 3/8″ inwards.

Attach your bottom panels to your side zipper panel.

Place the inner pocket on the right side of the lining and sew.

Fold it in half and sew both sides.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Place and pin the outer layer over the top of the lining with the right sides together. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Topstitch all the way around of the top of the bag entrance.

YOU ARE FINISHED!
