Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
1   9½″ × 11⅞″ (24㎝ × 30㎝)
2   1⅛″ × 1⅝″(3㎝ × 4㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
1   9½″ × 11⅞″ (24㎝ × 30㎝)

Zipper
1   8″(20㎝)

1¼″(3㎝) wide Webbing Strap 47½″(120㎝)
1¼″(3㎝) wide Triglides Slide and Side Release Buckle
1⅝″(4㎝) wide bias tape 12″(30㎝)

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
1   8¾″ × 11⅛″ (22㎝ × 28㎝)

Please refer to the video on how to attach the strap to the buckle so that the length can be adjusted.

Place the bag strap on the outer fabric and sew.

Place the small fabric on both ends of the zipper and sew with a seam allowance of 3/8″.

Fold the fabric twice, and sew.

Place the zipper right sides together on top of the outer layer.

Place the lining on top of the zip. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.

Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.

Turn right side out. Sew both sides together for the outer and lining.

Turn wrong side out. Fold inwards twice in 5/8″ each on the bottom on each side. Sew both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″.

The bias tape is placed on the both sides, stitch up to the end. Stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.

Turn right side out.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
