Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
2   14¾″ × 12½″(37㎝ × 31.5㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
2   14¾″ × 12½″(37㎝ × 31.5㎝)

Zipper
1   14″(35㎝)

1   Strip of 3/8″ (2㎝) wide Webbing Strap 8¾″(22㎝)

With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing down along top edge. Pin in place.

Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out.

Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

Flip the layers so the outer layer pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 4-inch opening.

Place the strap in the center of the outer layer and sew.

Fold the outer and lining respectively as shown in the phicture, centering on the zipper.

Fold the lining by 2¾″.

Fold the outer layer and place it in the lining.

Sew 3/8″ of both ends together for the outer and lining.

Turn out our shoe bag through the hole that we left not stitched.

Sew up this hole.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
