15㎜ Sewing buttons

5mm Cotton Cord 47½″ (120㎝)

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Place the two stripe fabrics facing each other, and sew them in the shape of a fin.
Turn it over and press it.

Place a fin between the fabric of the body and the fabric of the head and sew them together.

Open and press the fabric of head.

Cut the outer and lining in the shape of a fish.

Place the remaining fins on the outer fabric and sew.
Stitch the button in the position of the fish’s eye.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew the mouth of the fish with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Flip the layers so the outer bag pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, except for string holes(3/4″) on the outer layer and opening on the lining.

Turn out our drawstring bag through the opening that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this hole.

Sew the raw edge of the bag and the 2cm inside.

Start inserting the string through one end of the casing, using a safety pin.
Continue inserting the string into the casing on the other side.
Next, take the other string and start inserting it through the casing from the opposite side. Continue as before.

Tie the ends of the string in a knot and pull the ends to close the bag.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
