DIY Round Coin Pouch

I made a very cute round coin purse. It can hold not only coins, but also earphones or small accessories. Make it simple and give it as a gift. Try making it with the pattern I shared.

Seam allowances are 1/4″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
1   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
1   1⅛″ × 1⅝″(3㎝ × 4㎝)

Contrast Color Fabric ( quilting cotton )
1   4″ × 5⅜″(10㎝ × 13.5㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
1   4″ × 4″(10㎝ × 10㎝)
1   4″ × 5⅜″(10㎝ × 13.5㎝)

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
1   3⅜″ × 3″(8.5㎝ × 7.5㎝)
1   3⅜″ × 4¾″(8.5㎝ × 12㎝)

1   5/8″ (1.5㎝) wide D ring
9.5mm Snaps Button

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side. Cut by adding 1/4” from the edge of the interfacing.

Fold your tab fabric piece in half with the 1⅝” sides together and press. Fold in half to make your tabs. Place the pull tap on the outer layer, secure in place with a sewing clip, then sew.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew the top with an allowance of about 1/4″.

With sharp scissors make small snips on the curved seam. Fold it to the outside, and then topstitch. Front panel is ready.

Place the right sides together of the outer of the large fabric and front panel and sew with an allowance of about 1/4″.

Place the lining on top.

Sew with an allowance of about 1/4″, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Turn out our coin purse through the hole that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this hole by manually.

After turn right side out, topstitch the edge of the lid part.

Attach the snap button.
