DIY Twin Pouch Bag

This is a twin pouch with snap buttons. With two main pockets and a hidden pocket in the middle, it is convenient to organize things. It will be a fun sewing experience.

How to make a Double Pocket Bag Tutorial

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 8″(20㎝) W × 8″(20㎝) H × 3¼″(8㎝) D .

You may watch the full video tutorial on my Youtube channel.

Share this video with a lot of people who need it.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
2   8¾″ × 16¼″ ( 22㎝ × 41㎝ )

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
2   8¾″ × 16¼″ ( 22㎝ × 41㎝ )

Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
2   8″ × 15½″ ( 20㎝ × 39㎝ )

Plastic snap buttons

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. And fuse the interfacing, centered, to the wrong side. Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew only the bottom with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Put the two outer layers face to face. Sew 3 sides to the size of the middle pocket.

Fold one set of outer and lining. Pin it on top of the other outer layer.

Check to the video and fold the bottom.

Place the right sides together of the outer and lining.

sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 3-inch opening.

Turn out our pouch bag through the hole that we left not stitched. Then One pocket is complete.
Make the other side pocket in the same way.

Sew the top part of the pouch together with the opening.

Attach snap buttons to the center of the entrance.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
