EASY SQUARE COIN PURSE

This small coin purse makes a great gift and is perfect for storing small treasures. When you open this, you will see a wide, square-shaped bottom, making it convenient to select the coins you need. I show you how to draw your own coin purse template using a square clasp. Grab some small fabric pieces and clasps and let the fun crafting journey begin.

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 2¾″(7㎝) W × 1⅜″(3.5㎝) H × 2¾″(7㎝) D.

You may watch the full video tutorial on my Youtube channel.

Share this video with a lot of people who need it.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

◎ Main Panel
④ 3⅜″ × 3¾″ (8.5㎝ × 9.5㎝) Outer layer
④ 3⅜″ × 3¾″ (8.5㎝ × 9.5㎝) Lining
◎ Others
① 2¾″ × 1⅜″ (7㎝ × 3.5㎝) CLASP FRAME

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video. Cut 4 outer layers and 4 linings by adding 3/8” from the edge of the pattern.

Flip the layers so the outer layers are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together. Sew the seam allowance from the right side to the center.

With sharp scissors make small snips on curve sides.

Open and flip the layers so the outer layers are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together. Sew the both sides with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Place and pin the outer layer over the top of the lining with the right sides together.

Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Topstitch all the way around of the top of the purse entrance.

Insert the top of the purse into the inner gap of the frame. Sew to center the frame.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
