To make this you will need:
◆ Main Panel
② 9⅛″ × 4½″ (23㎝ × 11.5㎝) Outer layer
② 9⅛″ × 4½″ (23㎝ × 11.5㎝) Lining
② 9⅛″ × 4½″ (23㎝ × 11.5㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Pocket Panel
① 7¾″ × 3⅝″ (19.5㎝ × 9㎝) Outer layer
① 7¾″ × 3⅝″ (19.5㎝ × 9㎝) Lining
① 7¾″ × 3⅝″ (19.5㎝ × 9㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Gusset Panel
① 15″ × 3¼″ (38㎝ × 8㎝) Outer layer
① 15″ × 3¼″ (38㎝ × 8㎝) Lining
① 15″ × 3¼″ (38㎝ × 8㎝) Fusible fleece

① 5¾″ × 2⅜″ (14.5㎝ × 6㎝) Outer layer

① 1⅝″ (4㎝) Wide bias tape 19¾″ (50㎝)
With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge. Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance. Open out, press pieces away from the zipper. Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.
With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 1/4″ seam allowance.
Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8” away from the zipper.
Place the front pocket on the right side of the main panel and sew.
Align the center of the gusset with the center of the main fabric. Sew the bottom.
Turn right side out. Fold the gusset up and sew it to the side of the main panel.
The bias tape is placed and pinned as pictured, stitch up to the end. Stitch from the right side seam into seam, or sew manually from the backside.
