Let's get started!!
To make this you will need:
◆ Main Panel
① 14⅛″ × 14¾″ (36㎝ × 37.5㎝) Outer layer
① 14⅛″ × 14¾″ (36㎝ × 37.5㎝) Lining
① 14⅛″ × 14¾″ (36㎝ × 37.5㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Inside pocket
① 6¾″ × 7⅛″ (17㎝ × 18㎝) Lining
◆ Others
① 14⅝″ (37㎝) Zipper
① 1″ (2.5㎝) Wide Webbing Strap 35⅜″ (90㎝)
① Double fold bias tape 15⅞″ (40㎝)
Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.
Place the webbing strap on the right side of the main panel and sew.
With assembled outer layer right side up, center zipper right side facing down along top edge. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 1/4″ seam allowance.
Fold the inside pocket right sides together in half, and sew with a seam allowance of 1/4″, leaving an opening. Clip the corners and turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening. Press, pin and sew the top. Place the inside pocket on the right side of the lining and sew.
Place the lining, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 1/4″ seam allowance.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.
Adjust the zipper slider into the zipper.
Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 1/4″.
The bias tape is placed and stitch up to the end.
YOU ARE FINISHED!
Happy sewing!
