DIY Diaper Bag (with wipe dispenser)

This is a large pouch bag with a wet wipe holder and diaper storage pocket.
This bag is easy to use wet wipes without opening the main pocket.
There is a zipper pocket inside the flap on the front for convenient storage of small items.

How To make a Baby Bag with wipe dispenser

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 10″(25㎝) W × 6¾″(17㎝) H × 4″(10㎝) D.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton ) – 1/2 yard
1   14¾″×11¼″(37㎝ × 28.5㎝)
1   14¾″×3¼″(37㎝ × 8.5㎝)
1   8¾″×7¾″(22㎝ × 19.5㎝)

Contrast Color Fabric ( quilting cotton ) – 1/4 yard
1   14¾″×8⅜″(37㎝ × 21㎝)
1   8¾″×2″(22㎝ × 5㎝)
1   8¾″×6⅛″(22㎝ × 15.5㎝)
1   4″×4¾″(10㎝ × 12㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton ) – 1 yard
3   14¾″×11¼″(37㎝ × 28.5㎝)
1   14¾″×3¼″(37㎝ × 8.5㎝)
1   8¾″×7¾″(22㎝ × 19.5㎝)
1   14¾″×8⅜″(37㎝ × 21㎝)
1   8¾″×2″(22㎝ × 5㎝)
1   8¾″×6⅛″(22㎝ × 15.5㎝)
1   4″×4¾″(10㎝ × 12㎝)

Interfacing (Fusible Fleece – 987F Fusible Fleece or Vilene H630)
2   14¾″×11¼″(37㎝ × 28.5㎝)

Interfacing (Mid-weight woven – Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
1   14¾″×8⅜″(37㎝ × 21㎝)
1   8¾″×7¾″(22㎝ × 19.5㎝)

Zipper
1  14″(35㎝), 1  10″(25㎝), 1  8″(20㎝)

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the interfacing, centered, to the wrong side.

Put the faces together and sew along the shape of an oval.

Cut the hole including seam allowance.
Turn the lining fabric through the hole you just cut and out to the back.

Bias and zippers are sewn on panels with wet wipes holes.

When the wipe pocket is complete, cut it according to the pattern.

Make a zipper pocket to be applied inside the flap.

Wrap the three sides of the flap with a bias and sew.

Place the flap on the front of the wipe pocket and baste with long stitch 1/8 inch from the bottom.

Zipper applied to the main pocket.

Flip the layers so the outer bag pieces are right sides together, and the lining pieces are right sides together.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 4 -inch opening on the lining.
Then combine the seams so that a flat base is formed.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Combine the seams of the top of the outer and lining together so that a flat base is formed.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn out our diaper bag through the opening that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this hole, and the diaper bag is ready!
