Sewing Label
Fold the front pocket fabric in half and top stitch on 1/8β away from the top. Then place it on the front right side of the front panel and sew on three sides.
Refer to the video to cut the side pocket fabric. Place the right sides together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8β³. Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on 1/8β away from the top. Then place it on both sides of the front pocket and sew on three sides.
Fold along both long edges of the the strap pieces 3/8β³ inward. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press.
Stitch along both long edges of the strip, 1/8β³ from the edge.
Place the strap on the front and back panels at 6β³ intervals and sew only up to 8ΒΎβ³ in height.
Align the sides of the front and back panels sew with an allowance of about 3/8β³.
Mark the quarter of your bottom panel and the quarter of your main panel. Using your quarter marks, start pining the bottom of your main panel around the perimeter of your bottom. Sew all the edges with an allowance of about 3/8β³.
Fold the inner pocket right sides together in half, and sew both sides with a seam allowance of 3/8β³. Turn it right side out, sew the top, and place it on the right side of the lining and sew.
Place the right sides together of the main and bottom panel and sew the bottom with an allowance of about 3/8β³.
Place the right sides together of the lining panels and sew the both sides with an allowance of about 3/8β³, leaving an opening.
Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed and sew with an allowance of about 3/8β³.
Place and pin the outer layer over the top of the lining with the right sides together. Sew all the way around with an allowance of about 3/8β³.
Turn it right side out by pulling the fabric through the opening.
Sew the opening hole close.
Topstitch all the way around of the top of the bag entrance.
