Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( Quilting Cotton )
1   18⅝″ × 3″ (47㎝ × 7.5㎝)
1   18⅝″ × 4″ (47㎝ × 10㎝)
1   12¾″ × 5⅝″ (32㎝ × 14㎝)
1   20¼″ × 18″ (51㎝ × 46㎝)

Lining ( Quilting Cotton )
1   12¾″ × 5⅝″ (32㎝ × 14㎝)
1   12¾″ × 13″ (32㎝ × 33㎝)
2   20¼″ × 11⅝″ (51㎝ × 29.5㎝)

Zipper
1   17¾″(45㎝)

Fusible fleece (It is similar to Pellon 987F ‘ or ‘Vilene H630’)
1   19½″ × 21⅝″ (49㎝ × 55㎝)

Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex’ or ‘Vilene G700’)
1   2″ × 2″ (5㎝ × 5㎝)

Magnetic Buttons
4㎝ wide bias tape 33⅝″
2.5㎝ wide Webbing Strap 24″

Place and sew the handles 3⅝″ interval.

Place the lining of the front pocket on the right side of the main fabric and sew.

Place the top of the main fabric on the other side of the pocket lining and sew.

Fold the pocket lining and pin it.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern. Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side of the outer layer. Cut by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Place the inner pocket on the right side of the lining and sew.

With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge.
Pin in place. Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.

Align both ends of the outer and lining with the zipper as the center. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn wrong side out. Combine the seams so that a side is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Fold the bias tape in half, wrong sides together to make a crease. Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press. Place the side seam between the bias. Pay attention to the finish line and sew.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
