Ever felt like your bag is a bottomless pit for lipsticks and hair clips? I was so tired of digging around for my small essentials that I decided to create something clever. This little floral pouch looks simple on the outside, but open it up and—magic! Four neat pockets appear to keep everything in its place. Let’s get sewing and organize your life!
The finished measurements of this Slot Mini Pouch are approximately 5″(12.5㎝) W × 5″(12.5㎝) H × 2″(5㎝) D.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.
Let's get started!!
To make this you will need:
◆ Main panel
① 9⅛″ × 12½″ (23㎝ × 31.5㎝) Outer layer
① 9⅛″ × 12½″ (23㎝ × 31.5㎝) Lining
① 9⅛″ × 12½″ (23㎝ × 31.5㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Zipper panel
④ 1¼″ × 3¼″ (3㎝ × 8㎝) Outer layer
④ 1¼″ × 3¼″ (3㎝ × 8㎝) Lining
④ 1¼″ × 3¼″ (3㎝ × 8㎝) Fusible fleece
◆ Interior pocket
① 17″ × 14⅝″ (43㎝ × 37㎝) Lining
◆ Others
① 11½″(29㎝) Zipper_seam allowance included
① 1⅝″(4㎝) Wide bias tape 35⅜″(90㎝)
Fold the pocket panel in half lengthwise and sew. Fold the top and bottom quarters up. Turn it right side out and sew along the vertical center line. Fold the fabric so that the stitched line is centered and fold it in half again. Align the pocket openings and sew the top.
Place the pocket on the lining and sew along one top edge.
Sew the straight, not diagonal, side of the zipper panel to the zipper.
Place the zipper panel between the lining and outer of the main panel and sew the two ends together.
Turn it right side out and sew the outer and lining together along the edges.
First, align the center of the zipper panel with the center of the main panel. Sew all the edges with an allowance of about 1/4″.
Turn the pouch right side out and sew the other top of the pocket to the lining.
YOU ARE FINISHED!
