10MIN REVERSIBLE BAG

This is a cute reversible bag that can be made in 10 minutes.
This bag is easy to sew if you have basic sewing techniques for straight sewing method.
I think it would be good to make several and give them as gifts.

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately 8″ (20㎝) W × 8″(20㎝) H.

Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton )
1   8¾″ × 16¾″(22㎝ × 42㎝)
1   9½″ × 5¾″(24㎝ × 7㎝)

Lining ( quilting cotton )
1   8¾″ × 16¾″(22㎝ × 42㎝)
1   9½″ × 5¾″(24㎝ × 7㎝)

This bag can be used on both sides, so prepare both the outer and the lining with a fabric such as cotton linen or cotton oxford.

Face the right sides and fold it in half. Sew the both sides with a seam allowance of 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Turn inside out the outer layer.

Place the right sides together of the small pieces of fabric. Pin and sew top and bottom the edgeswith an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn inside out. Press, pin and topstitch the edges.

Place the handles on both sides of the outer fabric and sew.

Put the outer fabric inside the lining, align the entrance of the bag and pin it.

Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn inside out through the opening, then blind stitch the opening manually.

Put the lining inside the outer layer, and topstitch the top edge.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
