Start by layering the Main Exterior and Lining panels with wrong sides together and basting around the perimeter.
Next, prepare the Handle by fusing interfacing to the fabric and folding the long edges neatly toward the center. Topstitch along the center of the Handle to secure the folded layers. Attach the Handle to the center of the Main Exterior panel.
For the interior, create the Back Pocket by folding the fabric in half and topstitching along the folded edge. Baste the pocket to the Back Lining, leaving the top edge open.
Create the Front Pocket by folding the fabric with right sides together and stitching the side edges. Trim the bottom corners to reduce bulk, then turn the pocket right side out and press it neatly. Topstitch along the folded edge and attach the pocket to the Bottom Gusset Lining.
Next, assemble the Zipper Panel by sandwiching the zipper between the Exterior and Lining layers.
Stitch along both sides of the zipper and topstitch close to the zipper edge for a clean finish.
Join the Zipper Panel to the Back Exterior and Lining to create the gusset loop.
Match the marked points and carefully stitch around the curved perimeter. Small clips in the seam allowance help the fabric ease smoothly around the curves.
Finally, finish the exposed seams with bias tape for a neat and professional interior.
