Sometimes We go out with just wallet and cell phone.
Then you don’t need a big bag, a cute and small bag like this is great.
Maybe this could be a kid’s bag.
There may be insufficient photos and explanations for the process of making, so I recommend watching the video below.

2  8¾″ × 7¼″ ( 22㎝ × 18.5㎝ )

Zipper

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Fold the handle fabric in half, wrong sides together to make a crease.
Then fold each edge in toward the middle and press.
Place the handle on the right side of the outer layer.
Pin and sew the straight edge.

Place the lining 1cm below the outer pocket of the front pocket and sew with an allowance of about 3/4″.
Then fold over the lining and topstitch the outer fabric.

Place the front pocket on the outer layer of the bag.
Pin and sew just across the straight edge.

Fold the fabric inside the pocket in half and sew.
Then place the inside pocket on the lining of the bag.
Pin and sew just across the straight edge.

Place the zipper wrong side on top of the lining.
Place the outer layer on top of the zipper.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.
Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zipper the same way.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 1/8” away from the zipper.

The outer layers and the linings are facing each other.
And sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 3-inch opening on the lining.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Turn out the bag through the opening that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this opening, and cute tote bag is ready!

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
