Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Main Fabric
② 17¼″ × 17″ (43.5㎝ × 43㎝) Outer layer
② 17¼″ × 14⅝″ (43.5㎝ × 37㎝) Lining
Bottom Panel
① 12½″ × 6¼″ (31.5㎝ × 16㎝) Outer layer
① 12½″ × 6¼″ (31.5㎝ × 16㎝) Lining
Pocket
① 23″ × 15″ (58㎝ × 38㎝) Outer layer
Handle
① 2″ × 6¾″ (5㎝ × 17㎝) Outer layer
Zipper
① 17¾″ ~ 19¾″ (45㎝ ~ 50㎝)
① 9⅞″ (25㎝)

1″ (2.5㎝) wide Webbing Strap 130½″ (330㎝)

② 1″ (2.5㎝) Rectangle Ring
② 1″ (2.5㎝) wide Triglides Slide

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Place the 9⅞″ zipper right sides together on top of the pocket fabric. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 3/8″ seam allowance.

Fold the pocket fabric right sides together in half, and sew 3 sides with a seam allowance of 3/8″, leaving an opening.

Turn right side out through the hole that we left not stitched. And stitch the top.

Place the pocket right sides together on the main fabric. Position the zipper 7½″ up from the bottom of the main fabric and sew.

Unfold the pocket face out and Stitch vertically about 3/8″ from each end of the zipper.

Fold the sides of the pocket inward. Place the right sides together of the main fabrics. Sew the both sides, leaving 2¾″ from the top.

Turn right side out and align the pocket with the main fabric. Sew the ends and bottom of the pocket to the main fabric.

Mark 5/8″ on the center of the bottom fabric and 15⅞″ for the zipper. Sew one side of the zipper to the fabric, leaving 5/8″.

Sew the other side of the zipper the same way. See the video around the 10 minute mark for more details.

Align the bottom fabric quarter marks with the main fabric quarter marks.

Sew with a 3/8″ seam allowance except where the zipper pull is located.

Turn right out and sew all the way around.

Place the two pieces of the lining main fabric right sides together and sew along the both sides. Sew with a 3/8″ seam allowance, matching the bottom fabric on all four sides.

Place the lining inside the outer layer, right sides together. Sew with a 3/8″ seam allowance, leaving an opening.

Turn it right side out and fold it so that 1¼″ of the outer layer is tucked inside. Sew where the lining starts, making casing for the bag strap.

Start inserting the strap through one end of the casing. Continue inserting the strap into the casing on the other side. Next, take the other strap and start inserting it through the casing from the opposite side. Continue as before.

Adjust the bag strap through the triglides and connect it to the rectangle ring and you’re done!!!

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
