This bag features two types of inside pockets: a **middle pocket** (bottomless divider style) and **front/back pockets** (with boxed bottoms for depth).
Place the front pocket piece onto the right side of the main exterior fabric. Align them properly and sew along the three sides (bottom and both side edges) to secure it.
Align two zippers with their right sides facing each other and sew them together. Place the right side of the lining fabric against the right side of the zipper (sandwiching the zipper). Sew along the top edge. Open the fabric pieces and topstitch just below the zipper teeth for a clean, professional finish. Repeat this process for all three zippers until the main zipper sections are prepared.
Sew the zipper panels to the front and back zipper assemblies.
Place the lining pieces right sides together. Sew the side seams and the bottom edges. Crucially, leave a **turning hole** (gap) at the bottom of the **middle pocket lining**. This will be used to turn the bag right side out later. For the front and back pockets, fold the bottom corners and sew across them to create **boxed bottoms**. This gives the bag its 3D depth.
Spread out the zipper and zipper panel assembly. Align them with the side edges of the main fabric.
Match the center point of the zipper panels with the center of the main panels first. Pin them in place, then sew along the side lines. This step transforms the flat pieces into the final bag shape.
Turn the entire bag right side out through the turning hole in the middle lining.
Neatly sew the turning hole closed (using a ladder stitch or a close edge stitch).
Attach your bag strap, and your triple zipper crossbody bag is complete!
YOU ARE FINISHED!
Enjoy your project, and see you in the next tutorial!
